With the growing concerns of global warming on the rise, we cannot help but take inventory of our personal lives as well as how we do business. As we became more conscious of how damaging many current practices are, we realized we needed to step up and reassess. More than ever, we see companies taking responsibility by going green. We are proud to be one of them, and you can see how every step shows up in our process and across our nationwide services.

Our effort to create a waste free business has taught us two things. Small efforts deliver big results, and creating a green business is deeply rewarding. Below are the everyday changes that add up across a year of running a web design and development studio.
Four everyday changes we made and have stuck with.
We are replacing all cleaning products with biodegradable, eco friendly alternatives and actively exploring virtually waterless cleaning technology for the office.
More than 90 percent of our lighting has been upgraded to energy efficient bulbs. We unplug devices when not in use and maximize natural light, which has trimmed our energy bill significantly.
Heating costs have been reduced by lowering thermostat settings. A small adjustment with a big environmental impact, especially across a heating season.
We eliminated 99 percent of paper faxing, adopted online faxing, only print emails when truly necessary, and use recycled content paper wherever possible.
Why it matters
Our journey to going green has shown that consistent, environmentally friendly actions do not have to be large to have impact. Reducing energy, water, and paper usage benefits both the planet and our pocketbooks. The same thinking shapes how we build sites: clean, lightweight code, fewer requests, smaller pages, and performance focused design that uses less energy on every visit.
